Holly Wood began her journey taking the stage in her human form as a Dancer at the age of 2. It was here that she developed a love for the stage and performing, which led her to try her hand at acting in Middle School.  Holly Wood continued with the Arts throughout High School becoming Captain of the Dance team, President of her school chapter International Thespian Society; and participated in every main stage and community service production.  As a young adult Holly Wood remained involved in Theatre and Dance at the University of Central Florida and participated in student films at Full Sail University.

In 2014 Holly Wood chased her dreams of being a dancer in NYC, she trained with the Limon Modern Dance Company, became an apprentice for the Jazz Roots Dance Company and began delving into the world of Aerial Arts. Being a true Mermaid at heart the call of the sea brought Holly Wood back to sunny South Florida.

In 2017 she began her career as a professional Mermaid at The World Famous Wreck Bar in Fort Lauderdale Florida, where she wowed audience in the live Underwater Mermaid and Aquaburlesque Shows. Holly Wood has studied a variety of art forms including Dance, Circus, Voice, Burlesque and Theatre making her Mermaid acts a unique, breathtaking and mesmerizing experience.
